This 100% Linen fabric is woven in Naples, Italy by Ariston mill. This fabric is a great Summer option; it is versatile and can work as a suit, or separately the jacket alone will look great when paired with a polo shirt or a linen shirt. 

This fabric is quite a soft and casual linen compared to a more stiff and classic Irish linen.

This Linen Jacket is 30 hours of pure craftsmanship. It is a Half-Canvas jacket, completely custom made in Shanghai by our tailors skilled and loving hands, which also produce men’s suits for prestigious fashion houses. 

We like the construction of this jacket because the canvas only runs through the chest and lapels. This way it feels more robust and comfortable than a fused jacket - but also lighter and less structured than a fully canvassed suit. The jacket will, therefore, have a structure and at the same time an elegant fluidity. The canvas fabric also gives this Linen Jacket greater durability compared to a fused construction jacket.

The Neapolitan Trim fit has high armholes, thin shoulder pads and thin sleeve-head pads, which creates a very gentle roped sleeve. The Soft Comfort fit also has thin shoulder pads but it does not have sleeve-head pads; the sleeve head is made with the "spalla camicia" technique (also called "shirt sleeve"), which means the sleeve-head is natural and not roped.

This single-breasted, 3-roll-2 buttons Linen Jacket is unlined (there is only lining in the sleeves) and has 3 patch pockets. The jacket features a traditional breast pocket, an 8cm notch lapel and two back side vents. The chest pocket "Barchetta" is cut with a curve similar to the shape of a boat which confers harmonious proportions.

Request dry cleaning at specialist cleaner's only. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Iron at a low temperature.
